so whats the name of the dx7 preset?

I just got the product a few days ago and have been watching a few videos about it, which is probably how this video was recommended to my feed. Anyway, I have played music for about 25 years, and while I can play guitar somewhat decently, my vocal abilities have never been up to the level I would want them to be. I intend to use the software to help me see if the vocal melodies I hear in my head would work for a given song. I also plan to hire vocalists to actually help me record the songs once I feel I have a good melody to use as a base for them to work.

With this small selection of singers, many producers will end up sounding like shit when using this AI.

I used the Arturia V vocoder on a track and it worked really well. WIth the presets I had no control over the vocal that was sung, but I could add my own vocal as needed. I see Synthesizer V as a logical extension of the Vocder instrument. The fact that a musician like me that can't sing can type lyrics and have a vocalist sing my lyrics is a game changer. I can't see how me using this tool would put vocalists out of a job (as I never found a vocalist that would want to sing on my tracks). You need to be creative to use a tool like this too. I welcome these tools to help my song writing craft.

Sounds artificial to me straight off the bat. Just trying the current free version - not sure how to actually get some audible changes with vibrato etc...

Nice work! Question about the 2/4 sec sample length... Am I right to assume that pitching up the sample before import to get a longer duration doesn't help?

its not about fear or missunderstanding Towards ai, at least in visual art... Visual artists are upset with ai because it uses a data base with art that no one gave permision to use, simple as that .they didnt have the rights to use anothers person art without asking them, i think its fair to be upset.

I have been trying to program synthesizers, but since I often approach things from a rather engineery and structured pattern, everything sounded just boring.
